What we do

Six pillars of
grassroots action.

Driving real change in communities that need it most — rooted in Sanatan values, aligned with the UN SDGs.

सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः।
सर्वे भद्राणि पश्यन्तु मा कश्चिद् दुःखभाग् भवेत्॥

May all be happy; may all be free from disease; may all see the auspicious; may none suffer.

— Bṛhadāraṇyaka Upaniṣad

Photography note. Every photograph on this page is the Trust's own field photography. Where a programme has not been photographed yet we show a marked placeholder — never a stock image, and never a borrowed picture captioned as our work.

Pillar 01

Education for All

विद्या ददाति विनयं विनयाद् याति पात्रताम्।
पात्रत्वाद् धनमाप्नोति धनाद् धर्मं ततः सुखम्॥

Knowledge gives humility; humility gives worthiness; worthiness gives wealth; wealth gives righteousness; righteousness gives happiness.

— Hitopadeśa

Children's education must not stop. We reach first-generation learners where formal infrastructure hasn't.

Distribute educational materials, provide informal education support and after-school sessions to underserved children, support rural and community schools.

Pillar 02

Healthcare Access

आरोग्यं परमं भाग्यं स्वास्थ्यं सर्वार्थसाधनम्।
सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः॥

Health is the greatest blessing; good health enables all goals. May all be free from disease; may all be happy.

— Āyurveda tradition

Healthcare shouldn't be a privilege. We bring medical care to rural communities that have none.

Free medical camps, donated equipment and medicines, preventive healthcare drives in underserved rural and semi-urban communities. We work with medical volunteers and doctors, and seek NHM linkage.

Environment

वृक्षो रक्षति रक्षितः क्षितिमिमां भूत्वा तु वृक्षः पुनः।
माता भूमिः पुत्रोऽहं पृथिव्याः पालयेत्प्रजाः॥

The tree protects those who protect it; the earth is our mother and we are her children — let us care for all creatures.

— Atharva Veda / Varāhamihira

Himalayan clean-up drives, river and lake cleanliness, plantation, water harvesting, and sustainable rural practices.

We engage youth and communities in restoring local ecologies. Our eco-village model (Pillar 06) is the long-term culmination of this environmental work.

Women-centred care

Maternal nutrition.

Runs across two pillars — 02 · Healthcare Access and 04 · GYAN (Nari).

Many women cannot afford an adequate diet during pregnancy — and the cost is paid twice, in her health and in her child's first years.

Our work here is counselling and linkage: iron and nutrition counselling, antenatal linkage, and help accessing doctor-prescribed supplementation. It is delivered through the maternal health camps described under Nari — prenatal/postnatal care, nutrition & immunisation guidance — and through the Self Help Groups women already belong to.
